Dr. Carla Buenaflor

Dr. Carla Buenaflor completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of the Philippines Diliman before pursuing medical studies at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, where she ranked among the Ten Outstanding Graduates in Academics, placing fourth. She underwent dermatology residency training at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital, finishing in 2024, where she was conferred the Most Outstanding Resident Award, and subsequently served as Chief Resident of the Department of Dermatology in 2025. She placed first in both the September 2020 Physician Licensure Examination and the Philippine Board of Dermatology Diplomate Board Examination in June 2025. Her interests lie in advanced medical dermatology, particularly infectious and autoimmune diseases.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading novels, traveling, and staying at home to watch Netflix.
